Odyssey is the online platform Sunshine State Kids Foundation uses for its FES-EO and FES-UA scholarships in 2026-27. Families apply, get decisions, manage funds and keep receipts there, and the application and sign-in are in English only. A separate company runs Odyssey; the foundation runs the scholarships. This guide uses public information only: we have not used the platform, and we can't reset your password or see your account.
What Odyssey does for Sunshine State Kids Foundation families
- Applications and decisions. The "Apply now" link on sskf.org leads to Odyssey, where the application, decision, funds and receipts are handled1.
- FES-EO tuition. The foundation pays the private school directly5.
- FES-UA funds go into a digital wallet in Odyssey1.
- Products can be bought through a marketplace5.
- Deposits are planned quarterly, in September, November, February and April6.
The foundation's application to the state also describes school and vendor portals, direct deposits from the wallet to approved providers, payments on the schedule the parent chooses, and no transaction fees for families78. We list those as plans; we have not seen them working.
Rules and deadlines
Sunshine State Kids Foundation's 2026-27 purchasing handbook sets these deadlines for money in Odyssey:
- Reimbursement claims are due by July 31 following the school year9.
- Pre-authorization requests are due by May 2910.
- A denied reimbursement can be appealed within 30 days11, once per item, and not by email.
