Scholarship.Guide is an independent guide to Florida's K-12 scholarship and education savings account programs. We are not a government agency or a scholarship funding organization, and we don't process applications or payments. We explain the programs, publish the numbers in one place with their sources, and will add a free directory of the schools and providers families can pay with a scholarship.
Independence
Scholarship.Guide is an independent directory and information service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Step Up For Students, AAA Scholarship Foundation, Sunshine State Kids Foundation, Step Up for Students-Federal, Inc. (Step Up, Step Further), or the Florida Department of Education. Step Up For Students®, MyScholarShop®, EMA and other names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to identify those organizations and their services. AAA Scholarship Foundation is not affiliated with the American Automobile Association. Always confirm eligibility, amounts and approved providers with your scholarship organization.
- We name scholarship organizations only to identify them. We don't use their logos or styling.
- We stay neutral between Step Up For Students, AAA Scholarship Foundation and Sunshine State Kids Foundation. We don't rank them or tell families which to choose.
- Where the law and an organization's published practice differ, we show both and say who said what. We don't decide who is right.
- Organic placement on this site is never for sale. If we ever show paid placements, they will be labeled "Sponsored."
- We don't sell family inquiries, and we never pass them to a provider without the family's explicit consent.
How we check facts
- Every number, date and status on the site comes from one facts registry in which every fact carries its source and the date it was checked. When a source changes, we update the registry once and every page that uses the fact changes with it.
- Each fact links to its source: Florida Statutes, the State Board of Education, the Florida Department of Education, the Legislature's budget documents, the IRS, or a scholarship organization's own handbook, chart or web page. The source list on each page shows who stated the fact and the date we last checked it.
- We label figures that are from a prior year, come from a secondary source, or are disputed between sources.
- Program statuses (open, closed, referral only, legacy balances only, not open yet) are checked against the scholarship organizations' own pages.
- Nothing here is legal, tax or financial advice. Always confirm eligibility, amounts and approved providers with your scholarship organization.
Corrections
If something on this site is wrong or out of date, email hello@scholarship.guide with the page address and the source that shows the correct information. We fix confirmed errors and update the checked date. Please don't send us your child's information or any account login; we can't help with individual scholarship accounts.
